How to improve your English in Siam University?

• Do not be afraid to talk to foreign students. We are shy bunches too – being in a foreign country is not easy – so please talk to us first. We are always willing to teach English. Also, please talk to us personally not in line or facebook. Speaking English in person will help you more to be confident in using English. An example is my friend who used to be shy when she talks to me but now she keeps on talking in English all the time. Her English really improved.

 

• Use your lecture materials. All the handouts that lecturers will give you are in English. Use these to improve your English by knowing and trying to understand all of it. You will be able to learn new words and it will not only help your English as well as your grades.

 

• Speak English all the time. Even if you are with your Thai friends, try to speak in English all the time. You will not only help yourself but also your friends.
