 We are pleased and delighted that our city "Bangkok" has been selected to be a host city for this coming World Conference on Hospitality, Tourism and Event Research (WHTER) & International Convention and Expo Summit 2013 (ICES).

 

     Bangkok has been the capital city of Thailand for more than two centuries. The name "Bangkok" means "City of Angels" or "Krungthep" in Thai. It is in the central part of the country, on the Chao Phraya River near the Gulf of Thailand.



     Bangkok is Thailand's administrative, economic, and cultural center and a major commercial and transportation center of Southeast Asia. With a population of over eleven million inhabitants, by far it's also the largest city in Thailand.



     The city is very famous among visitors for its versatility and multiple points of interests ranging from marvelous attractions, variety of foods and Thai way of life. Recently, Bangkok has been voted by Travel + Leisure Magazine as the "World's Best City 2011"
